Back to reality

Game #1 of the 2011 NLCS was a victory.  Game #2, dead.  At least it didn’t involve Mr. Tony LaRussa complaining about the wiener races or retaliating for a curve ball bouncing in the dirt and hitting Lance Berkman in the cup.  No, this damage was primarily done by Albert Pujols (seriously forcing me to want to don this t-shirt) and the Brewers were never really in the game.  Guess when starting pitcher Shaun Marcum is behind every hitter you get such a laboring game, the theme of his playoff experience this year.  But, as I learned in the last series, blowouts can be overcome.  Looking forward to seeing the response in game #3.  Perhaps this will humble the team and cause them to refocus?
